ED'O 2016

The 2016 edition of the Efebo d’Oro marks a turning point in the history of thisprestigious cultural initiative, thanks to the presence ofAgnés Varda and Douglas Gordon: intolerant of pre-established codes, acute observers of the world that force us to see beyond appearances.

We dedicate this 38th edition to Childhoodand Adolescence – strengthening relations with schools – convinced that we will have to discover and review the works we present to the public with different eyes, highlighting the sparks that light up in the folds of a narrative that would seem relaxed, even traditional. We want to take on the arduous task of grasping the transformations, the “progressive shifts” in which the space for the artist is placed.
